I never realized how weird this sounded until I looked at it again. I’ll post it anyway. this is a poem about someone whom everybody loves but they don’t see who she really is. The meaning comes across a little odd though. Hmm:/
Clay
*
Everyone is crying,
Everyone is buying
Everything she feeds them.
Everyone is dying,
Everyone is trying,
To win her over.
*
(You can’t see me and you can’t hear me)
She stole everything with her poisonous smile
And her big brown eyes.
(You can’t see me and you can’t hear me)
Tortured and hurt I, lie in the dirt
Watching as she takes them away, away.
*
She’s like clay,
Folding and molding into something new everyday
Nobody can see she’s a fake,
Cause she’s shifting and shaping into something knew
And nobody sees,
She’s got clay feet.
*
Despising her,
She’s hypnotizing them
They howl at the moon,
This is all happening too soon.
*
She’s taken a place;They’ve forgotten a face
Or the name engraved.
A fire was lit
And she was standing in the smoke
They were left choking, choking.
*
(You can’t see me an you can’t hear me
But I’m still here, I’m still here)
She stole everything with her poisonous smile
And her big brown eyes.
(You can’t see me and you can’t hear me
But I’m still here, I’m still here)
Tortured and hurt I, lie in the dirt
Watching as they choke, on her smoke.
*
She’s like clay,
Folding and molding into something new everyday
Nobody knows she’s a fake,
Cause she’s shifting and shaping into something new
And nobody sees,
She’s got clay feet.
